Saint Luke's Weekend Soup Kitchen

   Using teams from 11 churches around Portland, Saint Luke’s Weekend Soup Kitchen provides up to 200 meals every Saturday and Sunday. The Weekend Soup Kitchen is located in the Wayside Soup Kitchen below Preble Street Resource Center.

  
     A team from the Cathedral works every third Sunday. We open with a prayer and then start serving people who come for lunch. This is an incredibly fun time, even though it can hot, demanding and sometimes messy work. 

    If you are looking for a way to serve Christ in all people, think about working at the Weekend Soup Kitchen. We need people to prepare, cook, serve, distribute beverages, wash dishes, and clean up. Your help is needed now more than ever!
